Upcoming Meeting Schedule
The Alameda County Beekeepers' Association meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Rotary Nature Center at Lake Merritt. The address is 600 Bellevue Ave. Oakland. EXCEPTION: Each June, we meet at the Alameda County Fairgrounds to prepare for our booth there.
Upcoming events are :
A beginners bee class March 14th.
A class by Randy Oliver March 21st.
Thursday, March 26, 7PM: Special speaker Stephen Petersen, an Alasakan beekeeper and a bee consultant in Cambodia.Stephen will speak about Asian bees and their relation to the environment. at the Rotary Nature Center.
April 14: Regular April meeting will feature Laurie Adams from North American Pollinator
Protection Campaign. Rotary Nature Center.

Hi!
I used to be a member of the Alameda County Beekkeepers Assn., and then moved out of the area. I am back and interested in keeping a hive. Do you know anyone who has a hive that might want to sell it or preferably give it a way? My motivation is more for pollination and enjoyment. I don’t need all the honey a hive or two will produce, so if someone would like me to tend the hive and pass the honey back, I’d be happy to do that too, just keeping a bit for my family. Thanks. Our next meeting is March 10 at the Rotary Nature Center.
My pen ran out of ink at the monthly meeting, and I'm hoping that it is the Randy Oliver meeting at Island Yacht Club this Saturday is the Top Bar Hive... Can you or someone confirm this?
